If you are more of a beach-lover, Santa Ponsa has a gorgeous white sandy beach stretching than a kilometre long and 100m wide where you can soak up the sun and relax. The beach has all the facilities you will need such as showers, changing room, sunbeds, lifeguard, water sports, parasailing, etc. Santa Ponsa beach is frequented by tourists and residents alike.

Another pf the places to visit in in Santa Ponsa is the desembarkment cross which was built to commemorate where Jaime I landed in 1229 with 20,000 soldiers and 150 boats to put an end to the Arab domination in Mallorca.

For nature-lovers visiting Santa Ponsa, there are a few interesting trails close to the sea towards the areas of Malgrats and Camp de Mar and the interior area of Calvia is just stunning, especially around Capdella and the Puig de Galatzo.

The Square in Santa Ponsa is another great place where to have a good time in a special corner of Mallorca, with all the anticovid measures and enjoy a good cocktail or beer. The Square is one of the biggest nigtlife centers in Santa Ponsa. It is located in the northern part of the resort. The square is surrounded by pubs and restaurants and there are live music performances and shows every night.

Santa Ponsa Water Park

There is no water park in Santa Ponsa itself but close to Santa Ponsa resort we find the Western Water Park, a western-style themed water park with lots of water slides and a fun choice to spend a day in the water. There is a free bus service that runs once a day to take you to the water park, and then to take you back to Santa Ponsa.

There are many places to cisit in Santa Ponsa, but if you also want some options of nearby places, we have some suggestions. iNot to be missed is the City of Palma, which is not so far from Santa Ponsa. A good value excursion is the tour to Palma on an open-top bus, combining guided walk and cathedral visit. The tour is a perfect opportunity to get to know the capital of the island and to do some shopping for an excellent value for money. Other popular excursion options from Santa Ponsa are the tour to the Caves of Drach, to Formentor and the trip to Soller and Calobra. It has eleven lakes, forty-six bunkers, beautiful views of Puig Galatzó, and one of the longest par-5's in Europe (590 metres).
