We offer a fantastic, lively excursion at Rancho Grande, which consists of a horse ride through the pine tree forests followed by a BBQ, Live Music and Dancing back at the Ranch !What do we do on our excursion to Rancho Grande?
The Rancho is situated near the sea side village of Son Serra de Marina and is surrounded by 900,000 sq mts of unspoilt rural land. This enables you to enjoy an unforgettable and extremely different excursion, giving you the chance to see some of the most beautiful scenery Mallorca has to offer. The Ranch has a “Wild West” theme which makes you feel like a real Cowboy/Cowgirl throughout your visit!
There is also a “mini farm” with peacocks, ostriches, wild boars, donkeys, typical Mallorcan black footed pigs and piglets and many other types of animals.
The excursion is organised by dividing guests into 3 groups:
Turbo - ONLY for experienced riders with minimum three years (Canter/gallop) hacking experience
Mini Turbo - This group consists of trotting therefore you should (Trotting) have at least one years riding experience.
Automatic - This group is for the people with very little or no (Walking) experience.
Each group consists of numerous experienced multi-lingual guides ensuring an enjoyable and safe ride for our guests lasting approx 90 mins. We have plenty of double saddles, which mean that all children can ride on the same horse as an adult.
On arrival back at the Ranch you will be offered a BBQ dinner (Mallorcan style) which consists of:
- Spicy chicken kebab on a stick
- Pork chops
- Salad
- Jacket potato
- Typical Mallorcan bread with garlic mayonnaise
- Ice-cream
- Sangria or refreshments
(Also vegetarian meals available)
Also, to add to the western atmosphere, you will be entertained with live music after the meal on the Ranch Terrace. Towards the end of the evening, guests will be invited to join in a fun Line Dance with the cowboys!

Die Tour hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht, auch wenn der Transferbus eine kaputte Klimaanlage hatte und wir keine deutsche Reitlehrerin hatten. Es ist wirklich super gemacht, das Team ist echt klasse, man bekommt zur Begrüßung ein Glas Sangria, dann werden Helme und Pferde zugeteilt und dann geht es auch schon ab in die Savanne von Spanien. Man hat die Möglichkeit gehabt, sich einen Schwierigkeitsgrad auszusuchen (auch für Kinder sehr gut geeignet), da die Anfänger Pferde bekommen, die eigentlich von alleine laufen. Das BBQ war super lecker, es gab für jeden eine Backkartoffel, einen Grillspieß, zwei Stücken Fleisch und Salat zum Selbernehmen, dazu Getränke (Sangria, AFG, Weißwein und Wasser). Zum Nachttisch gab es Eis. Das Rodeoreiten sowie die Line Dance Show und das Mitmachangebot beim Line Dance waren ebenfalls richtige Stimmungsmacher. Alles in allem, können wir diese Tour echt nur empfehlen, vor allem zu diesem Preis.
