Information about the boat trip to Dragonera:

What do we do on our excursion:

Our excursion to Dragonera Island is an unforgettable experience that takes us to discover the charms of the southeast coast of Mallorca, arriving at the famous island of Dragonera, a protected natural space once used as a refuge for notorious pirates such as Dragut and Barbarossa, who used this as a base for their attacks on Mallorca’s coasts. This boat excursion includes much more:

First we will sail close to the coast so everyone can admire the beauty of this part of the island, especially the kids who love to see the cliffs, the birds, the blue water... Our first stop will be a swimming stop in a beautiful spot. Snorkel masks are supplied free of charge on this excursion, so you may see some small fish!

After that you will need some energy, so what about a delicious lunch? Lunch is included in the price and consists of a buffet with pasta, potato salad, Spanish omelette and bread. During lunch unlimited sangria and water are served.

Then comes the highlight of this boat excursion: the Dragonera Island where you will have an hour’s free time to explore with the following options:

  • Take a walk to one of the lighthouses
  • Bathe on the beach by the harbour
  • Visit the natural park museum
  • Find the island's famous lizards

As an end to this gorgeous activity, on the way back to the departure point we also make a stop at a paradisiacal cove where you can bathe or snorkel., normally at Cala Blanca, but that could change depending on the weather.

Included in the price:

The price of the trip includes a 5 hours boat trip, lunch with drinks and the use of the snorkelling equipment.

Not Included in the price:

The transport to the port is not included in this price from any area and you must make your own way to Santa Ponsa or Peguera from where we set sail.

Also not included in the price is the 1€ per person (14-60 years) park tax which must be paid to the rangers upon entry to the island.

Did this trip with my son and 10 year old granddaugter and it was brilliant. Apart from the boarding at Santa Ponsa where confusion reigned as to who was going on which boat as 2 came in at once - we did get on the correct one thankfully. Great swim stop where everyone wanted to get in the sea. The children loved it. Food was perfectly nice, crew were amiable and Dragonera Island magic! Pity we were only there for a little less than an hour though. Another swim stop heading back was perfectly timed and all the day trippers were very happy! Would highly recommend this day out to anyone.

Loved this trip. We got two swim stops where you see fishes and an hour on the dragonera island where all these little lizards climb all over you- so cute. You get a small lunch (Pasta, salad, spanish omlette and baguette) and sangria included. See all the scenery from the boat. Brilliant. Tips: go with swimwear underneath and something like a saron over is all you'll need and some flipflops. Take a towel and your own facemask/snorkel if you have it. A few euros for drinks and a camera is about it, so you can jump in and swim and have fun.

Absolutely loved this half day cruise around the coastline. Dragonera island and it's lizards are fabulous - got loads of pics! Will definitely book again when we are next on the island. Thank you crew - we had a day to remember!
