What to do in S'Illot on your holidays

S'Illot, found on the East Coast of Mallorca, is one of the most important tourist resorts in this area of Mallorca. It is great place to spend a holiday as it has plenty of tours, excursions and boat trips offer for all ages, plus plenty of hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and beach facilities.

Do hiking or an excursion by bike

Many visitors to S'Illot come with the intention of walking, hiking, cycling and generally enjoying nature. The Cala Millor Town Council has designed many routes with this in mind, for visitors and residents to enjoy the best of S'Illot and its surroundings. One of our recommendations is the Calicant Mountain where there are different trails to follow on foot or mountain bike.

Visit in the mountains

The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is somewhat far away from S'Illot, but you can visit on the tour to Sa Calobra and Soller with pick up from S'Illot.

Beaches and boat trips

Sun and sand lovers will find an ideal beach in S'Illot with white sand and plenty of beach activities for those who want more than to just soak up the sun and relax. Activities from the beach in S'Illot include kayaking, jet ski, snorkelling and various boat trips which take you to discover Mallorca's gorgeous coastline. While at the beach you shouldn’t miss out on taking part in a glass bottom boat trip from S'Illot. Exploring the island from out at sea gives you a stunning different perspective of this beautiful island. Another popular boat trip departs from nearby Cala Ratjada and is a tour by catamaran to see dolphins in the wild at dawn. This excursion includes pick up from S'Illot.

Visit a waterpark

There is no water park in S'Illot or in the east area but for those who want to fly down the kamikazes and splash in the wave pools, there are organised tours from S'Illot to the biggest water parks in Mallorca including return transport.

Excursions by coach

Even though there are plenty of things to do in resort, we offer lots of excursions from S'Illot to the main tourist attractions and the best sights of the island, including Formentor, Palma or water parks. One of the most popular visits, also on the east coast, is to the Caves of Drach, Mallorca's largest cave, including music concert and boat trip inside the caves. A great option is to combine a visit to the Caves of Drach with the fishing port of Porto Cristo and the renowned Majorica Pearl Factory.

Tourist train ecursion

Those staying in S'Illot will find that there is a convenient tourist train that takes passengers to other tourist resorts. It is also possible to cycle along the coast between Sa Coma and Porto Cristo, or just a smaller section of this route.

Organized tours by coach

On this page you can find an extensive list of activities, and by using the filter option you can narrow the list to find the most suitable activity. Apart from tours to explore Mallorca's highlights, we also have lots of other suggestions. There is something to do from S'Illot no matter what the weather is like. For cloudy days we have trips to the Aquarium for example, and for sunny days, we have tours to the water parks.

Visit the small towns around

If you are looking for a more traditional face of Mallorca, just inland from S'Illot is the sleepy village of Son Carrio which offers us a contrast between a village town and the busy coastal area.
