Located in the north area of Mallorca, the Port of Alcudia is one of the most important tourist destinations of the island. The municipality of Alcudia is home to 20,000 inhabitants and there are many things to do and places to see, plus an endless amount of organised tours to different attractions around the island.
For nature lovers we have the mountainous area of La Victoria close to the old town of Alcudia, which offers many interesting hiking and biking trails.
And don’t forget, the Serra de TramuntanaMountain Range is also close by. In that area you can enjoy the spectacular excursion to Soller and La Calobra combining boat trip, train ride, tram and coach.
Very close to Alcudia are thenatural and protected areas of S'Albuferaand S'Albufereta, both of which are natural wetlands and havens formigrating birds. Inside the parks (Albufera being the largest and mostaccessible to visitors) there are routes to follow on foot or cycling andwildlife observation hides where bird watchers visiting Alcudia can easily spend a day.
For those who love the sea: in the Bay of Alcudia we have one of the most extensive sandy beaches of Mallorca with water activities on offer such as jet ski, kayak or one of the countless boat trips that take you to the most scenic
From Alcudia's port, the ferry to Ciutadella in Menorca also departs everyday.

An essential visit in Alcudia is to the old town, where every Tuesday and Sunday the weekly local market takes place. In the old town you can walk around the top of the old walls, stroll through the old, atmospheric streetsand enjoy emblematic buildings such as the town hall and the bull ring.
