Located in the north area of Mallorca, the Port of Alcudia is one of the most important tourist destinations of the island. The municipality of Alcudia is home to 20,000 inhabitants and there are many things to do and places to see, plus an endless amount of organised tours to different attractions around the island.

Things to do in Alcudia on your holidays?

For nature lovers we have the mountainous area of La Victoria close to the old town of Alcudia, which offers many interesting hiking and biking trails. And don’t forget, the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain Range is also close by. In that area you can enjoy the spectacular excursion to Soller and La Calobra combining boat trip, train ride, tram and coach.

Very close to Alcudia are the natural and protected areas of S'Albufera and S'Albufereta, both of which are natural wetlands and havens for migrating birds. Inside the parks (Albufera being the largest and most accessible to visitors) there are routes to follow on foot or cycling and wildlife observation hides where bird watchers visiting Alcudia can easily spend a day.

For those who love the sea: in the Bay of Alcudia we have one of the most extensive sandy beaches of Mallorca with water activities on offer such as jet ski, kayak or one of the countless boat trips that take you to the most scenic coves such as Es Coll Baix and Aucanada or to the famous Formentor Beach and the Cape of Formentor. From Alcudia´s port, the ferry to Ciutadella in Menorca also departs every day.

Alcudia also has its very own water park: the Hidropark, where the whole family can enjoy water slides, wave pool and the park’s other attractions. And if it’s a water park you are looking for, don’t forget that from Alcudia you can also visit the larger water parks in the south of the island like Aqualand and Western Park on one of our excursions.

An essential visit in Alcudia is to the old town, where every Tuesday and Sunday the weekly local market takes place. In the old town you can walk around the top of the old walls, stroll through the old, atmospheric streets and enjoy emblematic buildings such as the town hall and the bull ring.
