You can find a lot of beautiful places on the east coast of Mallorca, there is a lot to see and many things to do in Cala D'Or and in this area of the island. On this tour we will embark on a glass-bottom boat to enjoy the east coast of Mallorca with two stops on our way:
- stop for a swim in the crystalline waters of the natural park of Cala Mondrago
- 60 min stop in the beautiful fishing village named Cala Figuera, with free time to walk around and enjoy its atmosphere
Cala Mondragó is one of the best beaches in the southeast of Mallorca. It is a 75-meter-long cove between two rocky outcrops, with white sand and crystal clear, calm waters. In its back part it has pine trees and desert plants.Cala Mondrago is part of the Mondragó Natural Park and is an excellent place for snorkeling.
The charming fishing village of Cala Figuera is hidden between rocky cliffs, pine and fig trees at the end of the bay of the same name. The romantic fishing village stands out for its calm atmosphere, rocky coastal landscape and traditional house facades. Wooden shutters shine with bright colors and small fishermen's houses line the landscape of the port. Take your time to admire the views of the marina from the terrace of one of the restaurants, or take a walk along the rugged coastline to the iconic watchtower.
Boat Trip to Cala Figuera from Cala Dor. Reviews
Best bit was the 45 minute stop for swimming and slides. Nice to see the island from the sea rather than looking out to sea. A fun trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to book.
👍👍👍
Really great trip although I did think there would be more to see in Cala Figuera. We loved the slide, jumping in and swimming in the bay. Sea was beautifully warm but being the sea you definitely need to be quite a strong swimmer. The boat didn’t call into Cala D’Or on the way back though so had to stay on it longer until it went back down the coast.
We went on this trip on a cloudy and slightly windy day. The rep warned us before we got on the boat that it was going to be a choppy day and offered us the chance to change to a different day. As we had no spare days, we decided to go ahead. The sea was very rough and the catamaran seemed to pitch and roll a lot. The first hour was spent picking up passengers from other coves (we got on at Cala Esmeralda and understood from the itinerary that we were second last pick up but this seemed not to be the case). By the time we arrived at Cala Figuera two people had been sick. There was very little to see/do at Cala Figuera and all the restaurants that were open seemed to be serving full meals rather than lunches or snacks. We didn’t stay on the boat but opted to get a taxi back to Cala Esmeralda for about €24 - we felt the swimming experience might not be the best in the conditions. So my advice would be to accept the date change offer if it’s at all windy or stormy!!
Great trip for all the family, very enjoyable, very friendly crew. We went to the village first for an hour before stopping for a much needed swim on the way back. Our only regret was having lunch before getting on the boat as the cafes in Cala Figuera near the port had an amazing choice of food and service was fast.
Most enjoyable trip. Lovely boat and crew. Good value for the cost too. Our favourite part was the stop at Cala Figuera.
We had a lovely day out on the boat trip to Cala Figueroa. The staff were friendly and the trip was relaxed and clearly communicated. Would definitely book again!
Amazing trip and excellent value for money. However pick up point at beach was not clearly indicated. Also the stop for one hour was amended to 45 minutes and not all passengers were aware, resulting in us having to turn back and return to the harbour to pick up a few passengers who had been left behind. We were aware of the amendment because we speak Spanish and asked when we stopped the time that the boat would be leaving.
