On this excursion we take you by boat from Puerto de Soller to Cala Tuent on a journey of about 45 minutes bordering the beautiful coast of this part of the Sierra de Tramuntana. In Cala Tuent you will have free time to enjoy the beach. Below you will find some recommendations of what to do in Cala Tuent to make the most of your time.
Cala Tuent Beach is one of the most hidden beaches in the entire Sierra de Tramuntana, which gives it a lot of charm, and is surrounded by some of the highest mountains in Mallorca. It is distinguished by its spectacular and rugged mountain landscape, and by its olive trees almost touching the sea.
The beach is small, although it is never overcrowded. It is 170 meters long and about 30 meters wide, and there is no sand, but ridges and coarse pebbles. That is why it is advisable to bring closed beach shoes or sports shoes. Also take that into account when swimming or accessing the water, as there are rocks.
The water is always clear and clean, with shades of different colours. It is an ideal spot for diving or snorkelling. On the right side there is a small jetty, from where you can jump into the water, and where there is a beautiful panoramic view of the beach with the Puig Major in the background.
Cala Tuent is a fairly quiet beach, as most tourists choose to go to the nearby Sa Calobra Beach. Obviously, during the weekends there are more people, but even so, it still retains all its charm.
