Caves Drach Tour Reviews
On time. Good service.
The Drach Caves are a testament to the captivating beauty that lies beneath Mallorca's surface. The guided tour provided fascinating insights into the geological formations, making the visit both educational and visually stunning.
Exploring the Drach Caves was a surreal journey into the heart of Mallorca's hidden wonders.
The caves were fantastic and well worth seeing. The downside was the many hotel pickups making a journey time of 2 hours to get there and tbh the Pearl Factory could have been excluded. Not sure why we needed a bus ride to the factory which was 100m from the caves! Porto Cristo is very pretty so we spent the time walking around the harbour and having a delicious ice cream!
Amazing
The caves were incredible and the concert on the lake was a genuinely moving and magical experience. The pearl factory wasn’t terribly interesting, though, and I’d have preferred to given that part a miss. Scoring 5 stars though, because the cave experience was truly wonderful, the tour guide knowledgeable and friendly; the coach was comfortable, and the driver navigated some tricky roads carefully and safely.
Booked excursion at very short notice (less than 24 hours before). Everything went smoothly with the transfer and we enjoyed a lovely trip to the Caves of Drach. Unfortunately afterwards you are dropped off at the most boring place in the world for an hour. Some jewellery shop where you are left wondering is there some arrangement with a commission involved. Very random, but worth it overall for the caves.
This was an excellent trip. The bus was modern, clean and air conditioned and the journey time was very manageable. The tour guide on the bus was knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of information in many languages! The caves themselves were spectacular and the concert was lovely. We queued for about 15 minutes for the short boat ride after the concert but might not choose to do so again. Afterwards there is a free hour to explore the pearl factory and shop, though we chose to go down to the marina for some lunch. We felt this trip was really well balanced in terms of activities, journey time and free time. And getting back to the resort by lunchtime was ideal!
Caves of Drach are some of the best in the world. Extremely good taste. I particularly enjoyed the classical music and the whole presentation. Big thanks to Georgina. Excellent rep.
