The Caves of Drach in Porto Cristo, on Mallorca's east coast, are one of the island's most impressive natural attractions. With this half-day tour from Cala d'Or and southeast Mallorca, you do not need to organise transport, entrance tickets or visiting times yourself: simply board the coach and let our guide take care of the organisation.
The excursion begins with pick-up from Cala d'Or, Calas de Mallorca and other available resorts in southeast Mallorca, followed by the journey to Porto Cristo in an air-conditioned coach. During the journey, our guide will explain how the tour works and share information about Mallorca and the Caves of Drach.
When we arrive, the official entrance tickets to the Caves of Drach have already been organised in advance for our group. Our guide collects the tickets and organises the group's entrance, so you do not need to buy your own tickets or worry about availability. Inside the caves, you have around 90 minutes to follow the approximately 1,200-metre route through spectacular chambers, underground lakes and impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
One of the highlights is Lake Martel, one of Europe's largest underground lakes. Here you take your seat beside the lake and experience an approximately 10-minute live classical music concert in the unique surroundings and natural acoustics of the cave. After the concert, you have the option to take the traditional boat trip across Lake Martel. The short ride lasts around five minutes and gives you a different perspective of the underground lake and cave formations.
The excursion also includes a visit to Majorica Pearls and approximately 30 minutes of free time in Porto Cristo, where you can take a short walk around this attractive coastal town and its natural harbour. Afterwards, we return by coach to Cala d'Or, Calas de Mallorca and the other pick-up areas in southeast Mallorca.

Pick up right on time, smooth journey and lovely guide. Arrival at caves delayed by 10 minutes due to others not waiting at their pick up point. This meant we were hurried through the caves which was a shame as they were incredible. Just made it to the lake concert with seconds to spare. Truly beautiful and moving and we got to follow that up with a short boat trip on the lake. All in all, the caves were amazing and well worth the visit, just could have done with at least an extra 30 minutes to take everything in fully. Thank you.
Well organised trip, comfy and friendly coach service - the Drach caves well worth a visit. Height of the tour was the classical music performance on lake Martel.

Exploring the Drach Caves was a surreal journey into the heart of Mallorca's hidden wonders.
The caves were fantastic and well worth seeing. The downside was the many hotel pickups making a journey time of 2 hours to get there and tbh the Pearl Factory could have been excluded. Not sure why we needed a bus ride to the factory which was 100m from the caves! Porto Cristo is very pretty so we spent the time walking around the harbour and having a delicious ice cream!
Amazing
The caves were incredible and the concert on the lake was a genuinely moving and magical experience. The pearl factory wasn’t terribly interesting, though, and I’d have preferred to given that part a miss. Scoring 5 stars though, because the cave experience was truly wonderful, the tour guide knowledgeable and friendly; the coach was comfortable, and the driver navigated some tricky roads carefully and safely.
