  Excelente guia e acompanhamento. A visita a Formentor vale a pena. O mirador é espetacular. Pouco tempo para nadar em Formentor porque há muita gente e as praias são pequenas. Uma delas tem areia fina e serve para crianças. E a água tem um cheiro intenso. Mas é linda.

  The bus went to some lovely places and it went to Formentor using the mountain roads. We got half an hour at the view point near Formentor. The bus then made its way down to Formentor beach - where we spent 1 hour (maybe a little longer would have been a nice option). Then we got the boat back to Port Pollenca - which was a really nice trip - the bus then picked us up and started dropping back at the hotels A lovely trip.

  We went on the half day trip with ‘No Frills Excursions’ to Formentor during our stay in Alcudia at the start of May. We booked the excursion before we went out to Alcudia over the ‘No Frills’ web site and we found it very easy to do. We were E-Mailed confirmation straight away and then later E-Mailed with the confirmed pick up information from our hotel. The coast of the trip was €26 for an adult and €13 for kids 3 to 12 years old. The bus picked us up at our hotel at the agreed time and we were greeted by the excursion guide. The coach was clean and tidy but it wasn’t an open top bus as advertised on the ‘No Frills’ web site. However, we weren’t too bothered about that as it was raining and having a top on the bus felt a better option than getting wet through! The coach party was a mix of English, Dutch and German holiday makers and the guide was fluent in each language. The first stop at the Mirador de Colomer was for about 30 minutes which was probably just long enough to climb the steps and get the best view and photographs. There is a small café/shop next to the car park which has a toilet. However, if you want to use the toilet you will need to make one purchase per person from the shop and there isn’t much in there under €2! Guess it would be an expensive toilet break for a family of five! If you can wait until the coach gets to Formentor which is about ten minutes from there then you can use the toilets for free! You will have about an hour on the Formentor beach which was just about enough. There is a bar and café there and also a few shops. The beach is really nice and we enjoyed our time there even though it was raining! The boat trip from there to Puerto Pollensa was really pleasant and we were able to take plenty of pictures. From Puerto Pollensa we got back on board our coach and were then dropped off at our hotel. It was a well organised trip which lasted about 4½ hours and was well worth the cost

  We had a fantastic tour end of March 2018! Doris is an awesome friendly guide and Luiz is a heroic bus drver! It was fun, totally worth the money. Sights were magnificent.

  Went on the Formentor trip from Puerto Pollensa yesterday. Booking was simple and easy and notification of pick up was clear and worked perfectly. The first disappointment was there was no sign of an open topped bus. We were collected, as notified, by a regular Transunion coach and I had expected that maybe we would transfer to an open topped bus at some point but that never happened. If it isn’t an open topped bus why is it advertised as such? The second disappointment was that as we were the last group to join the excursion we took the last 5 seats on the coach. We were 3 adults and 2 seven year olds and we all had to sit separately. No effort was made by either the other (mostly German) guests or the (German) tour guide to allow us to sit with our children which made the kids and us feel very uncomfortable. The lady sitting next to me (whose family were also separated) said that on another trip the guide had ensured that all family groups were sat together by organising people as they got on. It’s not very difficult!! Apart from this, the stops and organising were fine although the guide gave much more information in German than in English (I speak a some German so understood both). The Mirador and Formentor beach were lovely and the boat trip was fun. Next time I will just find the boat to and from Formentor beach directly.
