On this walk, we will visit part of the trails and viewpoints that the Archduke Lluís Salvador had built at the end of the 19th century. This area is a recovery area for the black vulture which, with luck, you might spot during the excursion. The hike is about 5 kilometers, and is easy to do. In fact, we can complete it in less than three hours.
Our route begins in Valldemossa, and goes through spectacular viewpoints of the Mediterranean coast, including a visit to one of the oldest hermitages in Mallorca. We will have a unique perspective of the Mediterranean coastline and the cliffs of the Sierra de Tramuntana. We will also walk through holm oak forests and pass by old lime kilns and the remains of charcoal-burning houses. In short, a route that is part of the history of Mallorca and that runs through enclaves of unparalleled beauty.
After the hike, we will visit the beautiful town of Valldemossa. It is a charming town that captivates with its narrow cobblestone streets, stone houses with flowers on the balconies and an atmosphere that exudes serenity. Stroll through cobblestone squares, admire historic architecture, and explore iconic sites such as the Cartuja de Valldemossa, once home of the famous musician and composer Chopin.
