The Island Tour has been the most popular excursion in the last years, and with no doubt is the best excursion in Mallorca offering sightseeing and the combination of 4 different modes of transport on the same excursion including the famous train of Soller and a visit to La Calobra. As well as the bus trip, you will ride on the old tram, the Soller train and a spectacular boat ride between Puerto Soller and La Calobra in Mallorca, all included in this price.
First, we will drive through the UNESCO Tramuntana Mountain area and, from the bus, you will enjoy some of the best views of your holiday: Lluc Monastery, the highest mountains of Mallorca and some amazing limestone rock formations. The excursion also includes a stop at the Monastery of Lluch, which is located in an idyllic setting at an altitude of 400 metres, in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range. The Monastery of Lluc dates back to the 17th century and is the island's place of pilgrimage, as it is home to the Virgin of Lluch, also known as "La Moreneta" because the figure is made of dark wood.
Then our bus trip will take us on the most spectacular road of Mallorca: the road to La Calobra, a road built in 1929. La Calobra is by far one of the most picturesque areas of Mallorca. In La Calobra you can visit the Torrente de Pareis gorge, relax enjoying beautiful views, swim at La Calobra beach or even have something to eat at one of the restaurants in La Calobra.
From La Calobra we will enjoy a boat trip (40 minutes) in the spectacular and dramatic west coast with views that can’t be seen from land. The boat trip goes from La Calobra to Puerto Soller.
The highlight of the Island Tour excursion will be in Soller Valley. First we will get on the Soller tram: a fantastic 25 minutes tram trip that will take us to the village of Soller, passing orange orchards and the village itself. In Soller, depending on the train timetable, we will have a little free time, and our guide will give you some recommendations. The last part of the Island Tour will be an amazing train trip on the Soller railway: an old wooden train built in 1912. The Soller train trip goes from Soller to Son Reus (outskirts of Palma), and it takes 40 minutes.
Mallorca Island Tour reviews
The process was super smooth and efficient. We got to learn a lot and see so much; Marta, our tour guide, was very informative and considerate for everyone throughout the day
We did the Mallorca Island Tour with click-mallorca.com This tour is amazing and I highly recommend booking it with click-mallorca, as they are the most reasonable and booking online is easy. Miguel (driver) and Janine (tour guide) were brilliant! Janine was very informative and she was also very considerate towards my partner who has mobility difficulties, making sure he had a seat on the tram and train. Miguel's careful driving on the serpentine Sa Colabra road was fantastic! Four modes of transport in one excursion; it's a long day, but well worth it. We have no hesitations to recommend this tour company for the Mallorca Island Tour
The tour was great! Lolo was an excellent driver and Jannine a great guide! They picked us up near our hotel and dropped us at the end at the same place. The landscape and the views during the tour are spectecular. Maybe some more time should be allowed to explore the spots where we stopped. Otherwise we really enjoyed the tour!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour which was made easy with our tour guide Jannine and our bus driver Lolo was careful and drove extremely well. Thanks for a great day in Palma which we would strongly recommend to others.
The island Tour was very interesting. The ride through the mountains to the monastery was not for the faint hearted but what an amazing road to travel on. Harbour visit and sail to Port Soller was pleasant , rounded off nicely with the tram and the vintage train back to Palma. Our Excellent tour guide was fluent in several languages and easy to understand. Great driver also.
Awesome - best day of my 10 day holiday - great value for money. Door to door service exploring beautiful, remote places the other side of Palma, love the wooden tram and wooden train. Highly recommend this trip and I will definitely do it again when I return. Informative guide and very careful bus driver - the mountain roads are narrow and twisty plus at times we were in the cloud, having lived in Turkey for many years I've never known a driver to be so careful!
Thanks for a lovely day A well planned tour with the best bus driver ever It’s a good trip and well worth the money
Enjoyed, only if you like train and tram. We were taken to parts usually not visited by us.
It was the best decission to take this tour. Well organised, funny guide, amazing places. We are still very excited about this tour.
The Mallorca Island Tour was an absolute delight! As a first-time visitor to the island, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this comprehensive tour exceeded all of my expectations. The combination of transportation modes - bus, train, tram, and boat - allowed us to see so much of the beautiful Mallorca landscape in just one day. The bus ride through the countryside was a great way to get an overview of the island, with our knowledgeable guide pointing out key landmarks and providing historical context. The vintage train journey through the mountains was a real highlight - the views were simply breathtaking. The short tram ride down to the coastal town of Sóller was another picturesque segment of the tour. But the real gem was the boat cruise along the stunning Tramuntana coastline. Cruising past the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves was a magical experience. We were able to appreciate the island's natural beauty from a completely different vantage point. Throughout the entire tour, the logistics were extremely well-organized. The transportation connections were seamless, and we never felt rushed or hurried. Our guide was friendly, engaging, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. I would highly recommend the Mallorca Island Tour to anyone visiting the island. It's an excellent way to see the diversity of landscapes and get a true taste of Mallorcan culture and history in just one day. I left the tour with a deep appreciation for this beautiful Mediterranean destination. Bravo!"
