On this excursion we will move from the east of Mallorca to the Sierra de Tramuntana, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its cultural landscape, and where we will:
Enjoy a journey by coach to get to know this area better, while the guide explains curiosities of the different areas that we will see, such as the Lluc monastery, the Puig Mayor, the Pareis torrent ... until you reach the considered one of the most spectacular roads in Europe, the road that takes us to Calobra. A 13-kilometer road built in 1929 with fantastic panoramic views, which will take us to our next destination: La Calobra.
La Calobra is a place in the Sierra de Tramuntana where sea, cliffs and forest come together to shape a spectacular natural landscape that will surely impress you. During the visit to La Calobra you have free time to eat, bathe in the cove or go to see the torrent of Pareis and its mouth, where we find a small pebble beach where you can bathe.
Next, we will embark on a modern boat to delight ourselves with a 40-minute ride from Sa Calobra to Puerto de Soller, bordering the coast, and with a unique landscape that can only be seen from the sea with defensive towers, coves, cliffs, sea caves , islets ...
Once we arrive at the Port, the Soller tram will be waiting for us to take us in a 25-minute journey to the Soller railway station, passing through orange and lemon orchards, through the town of Soller and with views of some of the mountains Mallorca high.
We will finish our excursion through the Tramuntana mountain range by going up to the Sóller train, a vintage train, built in 1912. The train ride takes us through the Soller valley, passing numerous tunnels and with privileged views of the valley towards the greater tunnel that It will bring us to the other side of the valley with the town of Bunyola, and the Son Reus station, where the coach awaits us to take us back.
