We depart from the picturesque harbour of Porto Cristo and follow the coast south. Our small and comfortable boat will soon take us away from the busy harbour to the peaceful Mediterranean. On this first stretch of the journey you will see pretty sights such as a watchtower from the 17th century close to the Caves of Drach, one of the best rated coves of Mallorca: Cala Mandia, and some other rugged coastline in the area of Cala Romantica. After an enjoyable boat journey we will arrive at Cala Varques.
No list of the best coves in Mallorca is complete without Cala Varques. It is truly one of the most beautiful coves in Mallorca. You will know you are getting close to Cala Varques when you see the natural land arch which looks like a beautiful bridge over the sea. Cala Varques itself is a wild beach with a backdrop of pine forest and crystal clear turquoise waters.
