Customer reviews for Tour Discover Palma de Mallorca with walking tour and cathedral
TERRIBLE!! Hotel pick-up was to be 8:30am but it was well after 9am before bus showed up. There was no open top bus tour as per the tour description. The bus drove straight to Palma, drove around the Castle but didn't stop (you couldn't get off or take any photos). It then drove straight to the Cathedral where everyone got off but no-one knew where to go. The Guide did not give any information and we even had to ask where and when to get the return bus. The guided tour of the old town was interesting but was very short (definitely no more than 20 minutes). The return bus was to be at 4:30pm but again that didn't turn up until much later. Basically, the whole day was just a complete unorganized mess so don't waste your money.
This was a perfect way to discover Palma. Our day started with us being welcomed by a friendly guide and an on time pick up service. We had commentary all the way into Palma and then we transferred onto the open bus, which took us all around the best sites and stopped for a photos at the castle at the top of the hill, where there are fantastic views over Palma. The guided walk around the old town was very enjoyable and then we had free time to enjoy the city for ourselves and do some shopping.
A nice day in Palma. You get exactly what you pay for and exactly what it says in the description of the tour.
This tour is quite good value for money because it takes you to the castle and also includes transport from the hotel, so you've saved two taxi fares there. The tour was a bit poor otherwise. It would be better to just have free time.
You get what you pay for. The tour was nice on the open-top bus. The guided walk was mediocore and the free time was whatever you make it. Still think it's good value for 20€.
Brilliant way to explore Palma de Mallorca with a great mix of activities, just the right balance of information and free time and the perfect duration for an introduction to the city.
Avoid this. Was supposed to be 90 minutes round Palma on an open top bus then a walking tour. We got a half an hour coach tour, then dropped off to entertain ourselves afterwards. Were supposed to be picked up at half 8 am s as t resort, Waited til 9am and was 10:15 when left alone in Palma after ‘tour’. Ended up making our own way back to resort. My advice is just use public transport to Palma.
A bit disappointed as we did not have the 3 hours free time expected. The pick up was 15 minutes late and after the bus tour we had a 45 minute wait before the walking tout - not long enough to go anywhere and be back at the meeting point on time. The walking tour finished at 12.15 and return bus was leaving at 1.30. Again not much time to explore Palma on our own as hoped. I did ask about the specific timings of this tour prior to booking but did not receive a response.
