During this tour, we will visit the Sóller Valley, combining a minibus journey with two of the most authentic experiences on the island: a ride on the historic Sóller train and a trip on the Sóller tram.
We will have time to explore the town of Sóller, reaching the main square to see its iconic landmarks, such as the Church of Sant Bartomeu, the Sóller Bank, and the famous Calle Luna, home to stunning modernist buildings. With our guide, you will learn about the fascinating history of this town, its connections with the Americas, its tradition of oranges and lemons, and its historical past reflected in its modernist architecture.
The tram ride lasts 25 minutes, taking us from Sóller to Port de Sóller, passing through the town, its orchards, and then along the seafront promenade. It is the only tram on the island and an unforgettable experience.
The journey on the Sóller train is a must-do experience. This 1912 railway has been featured in numerous TV programs and articles. Riding this train is like traveling back in time, with its wooden carriages and vintage atmosphere. On the route between Palma and Sóller, we will pass through almond and olive fields, enjoy spectacular views, and go through several tunnels.
In both Sóller and Port de Sóller, you will have time to explore, and our guide will be happy to offer recommendations to help you make the most of each stop.
Customer Reviews from Those Who Have Taken the Sóller Excursion
We only had one day in Mallorca, and this was the perfect way to make the most of it. They picked us up at the port, and we saw so much. The train ride was a highlight, and the guide was outstanding. Highly recommend for cruise passengers
I joined the tour mainly for the visuals—and wow, it didn’t disappoint. The train, the town, the tram... everything is incredibly photogenic. Having a private guide meant I could take my time capturing the best angles, We especially appreciated the time spent at the port—it was peaceful and picturesque. A very enriching day
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. From the moment we were picked up to the ride on the historic train, everything felt personal and relaxed. Valldemossa was lovely, but Sóller truly stole our hearts. The private tour made all the difference.
