This special sailing has been carefully organized to offer a privileged view of the 2026 total solar eclipse from the sea, in a strategic area of the island’s southwest coast.
Departure takes place from the pier at Santa Ponsa beach. After boarding, we will sail along the coastline as the sun slowly descends toward the horizon. The atmosphere will be relaxed, with open views of the Mediterranean and the beautiful coastal scenery of this part of Mallorca. During the trip, the captain will select a position in open water with optimal westward orientation to ensure a clear panoramic view, free from buildings or land obstacles. The boat will remain at low speed or drift calmly so you can fully enjoy the different phases of the eclipse.
If sea conditions allow, there will be a short swimming stop before the main event. As the moon gradually covers the sun, the sky will darken, creating a unique atmosphere over the Mediterranean. After totality and sunset, we will return to Santa Ponsa under the evening twilight.
