On this Starfish Boat trip from Cala d’Or, we sail out to open sea along Mallorca’s Levante coast in search of dolphins in their natural habitat. Once dolphins are spotted, the boat stays at a respectful distance, allowing you around 30 minutes to observe them swimming, playing and jumping. You are free to take photos and videos of this unique wildlife moment.
After the dolphin watching, the Starfish boat continues sailing close to the coastline, offering panoramic views of the coves and cliffs of the east coast. The tour then includes a 45-minute swimming stop, where you can cool off in clear waters and enjoy the boat’s on-board water slides, a favourite feature for families and children.
Once the swim stop is finished, the boat returns calmly towards Cala d’Or, completing a well-paced and enjoyable sea excursion.
Mallorca Starfish reviews
Great experience with the Starfish Boat. Clear instructions from Click Mallorca, easy boarding in Cala d’Or and friendly crew. Perfect activity for families.
We chose the Starfish Boat trip because we were staying in Cala d’Or and wanted a dolphin watching experience without travelling far. Booking with Click Mallorca was very easy and we received all the boarding details by email, which made everything stress-free. The boat was spacious and comfortable, and the crew explained what to expect before heading out to sea. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins swimming and jumping in the distance, and the captain kept a respectful distance so we could observe them naturally. It was a very special moment. Afterwards, the swimming stop was fantastic. The water was crystal clear and the slides at the back of the boat made it even more fun. The whole trip felt well organised, relaxed and ideal for families. We would definitely recommend the Starfish Boat to anyone staying in Cala d’Or who wants a balanced mix of dolphin watching and swimming.
We booked the Starfish Boat because we were staying in Cala d’Or and wanted something easy and well organised. Everything was exactly as described and very relaxed.
Lovely boat trip from Cala d’Or. Seeing dolphins swimming near the Starfish boat was an unforgettable moment, and the swim stop was very refreshing.
Absolutely fantastic experience! one deffo ticked off the bucket list for sure!!! although we only found a small pod of around 3-4 individuals we could have eaaily bumped into a pod of 10+. We found them super quick, in under 10 mins once we finished picking people up and got into open water. I would deffo recommend this excursion 100% to anyone. We got on the boat from the pier at the port in portocolom (easily found on google maps) from calas de mallorca as there was no transfer from our hotel, we initially thought we were goin to have to make our own way to cala d'or which was a bonus as portocolom is only 18 mins from our hotel by taxi, if u plan on doing this give urself plenty of time as the taxi was 10 mins late but we still made it there with 10 mins to spare due to being so close... 1000% recommend this for adults and children, i would deffo book again if we come back... sorry WHEN we come back! We love this island so much and we deffo plan to come back as we got engaged here this time (05/10/2024) so the honeymoon will be here aswell, thank you to all the brilliant staff for a wonderful day and a 5 ⭐️ experience all round.
Absolutely loved this excursion! Completely worth it!
There was only 3 hours between getting on and getting off the boat, and 1 of those hours was spent in a nearby town. €45 for 2 hours on a boat that was just spent going to different beaches and picking people up and dropping them off seems very steep for what is essentially a glorified boat taxi. The trip was ok overall as it was still nice to be out on the sea and looking at the scenery, however there was no dolphins, no real opportunity to look for them and we missed a huge chunk of the areas that we were told we’d be visiting which was really disappointing as we were looking forward to visiting the national park. Oversold, overpromised and overrated.
Fantastic boat trip, well worth the money. We saw so many dolphins and swam in the sea. Lovely friendly staff.
We got to the pick up point at 11.00 the boat came along, we was told there was no room, and was left at the beach, we was then told we could come back at 14.20, we had 4 children in tears. We had other activities booked that afternoon but luckily we was able to change our plans. Once on board at 14.30 it was a great trip, but was not happy about the morning activities !!
great trip!
