On this excursion we will take you to visit the capital of Mallorca where you will have plenty of free time to visit the old town or to do some shopping. Once everybody has been picked up, we will then drive to Palma. On the way our guide will give you some useful and interesting information about the places we will be passing by and about Palma de Mallorca itself to make sure you can make the most out of your day in this stunning city.
Once we get to Palma (at around 10:30) we take you on a 30 sightseeing tour. Then we will drop you off close to the shopping and historical centre, where you will have everything within walking distance. From there on you will have plenty of free time in Palma as we won't be leaving to go back to resort until around 16:30.Below are a few suggestions on what you could do while in the city:
- You can visit the beautiful old town with its charming squares, the nobility town-houses and some important historical buildings such as the cathedral, the town hall or the Almudaina Palace which is the official residence of the Spanish king when in Mallorca.
- You can also explore the shopping area because Palma de Mallorca is a shopping paradise with plenty of shops to suit all budgets. From luxurious shops to big departments stores, including international brands, local gastronomy shops and much more.
- You will also have time for lunch, a great opportunity to visit La Lonja area, the tapas area in Palma de Mallorca and the old fisherman’s port.
And, to complete your tour, to finish exploring Palma de Mallorca, enjoy the city from the sea. We will be taking you on a boat trip around the Port of Palma. This lovely boat ride is included in the price of this tour. It has a duration of appproximately one hour and it will take you around the Port of Palma with views of the port, the old town, Bellver castle... A great opportunity to see this beautiful city in a whole different way.
