This tour to Cabrera will be done in a modern motorboat that allows us to reach places where others cannot. All this makes this the best way to visit Cabrera and make the most of the day.
We will depart from the port of Colonia de Sant Jordi, and when we get on board we will give you an audio guide (headphones required) that explains the geology, fauna and history of the island of Cabrera. On a 25-minute trip, first passing Na Foradada, we will take a route around the entire archipelago of Cabrera and its 19 islets. After a sea journey of 1 hour and 45 minutes, we will disembark at Cabrera, where we will be met by the National Park guides, who will provide information on all the routes that can be taken on the islet:
- the castle of Cabrera, which dates back to the 15th century
- the museum of Cabrera, which is housed in a 19th century building and where the history of the Cabrera National Park is on display
- the Ensiola lighthouse, the last lighthouse of the Balearic Islands
- archaeological sites from the Roman, Byzantine and French period
- the botanical garden, which was built in imitation of the Botanical Garden of Soller
- the monument to the French, in memory of the French captives who died on the island during the War of Independence
- or simply relax on the crystal clear beaches of Sa Platjeta and s'Espalmador
On the way back we will make a stop at the Blue Cave, where, weather permitting, the boat will enter to enjoy the unique experience of a swim in the grotto and its impressive blue waters.
