The cruise ship Symphony of the Seas docks in the area called “dique del oeste” in Palma’s port. This is the area reserved for the largest cruise ships and is at the end of the port furthest away from the city centre. To reach the centre of Palma you can take a public bus from the stop by the terminal, take one of the cruise shuttle buses, or you can go walking, but it is around 7km.

The cruise ship Symphony of the Seas is considered one of the worlds largest and is part of the well known Royal Caribbean fleet. It set sail in April 2018 for a whole summer of cruising around different ports of the Mediterranean, one of which is the Port of Palma.
The dimensions of the cruise ship are spectacular! It measures 362 metres, weighs 228.081 tonnes and can reach a speed of 22 knots. Its capacity is for 5518 passengers, with a total of 2759 cabins, which are looked after by a crew of 2100 persons.
