The 9 best Nude Beaches in Mallorca
There are many beautiful coves and sandy beaches in Mallorca, but not all of them are ideal for practising nudism! And although practising nudism on Mallorca’s beaches and coves isn´t forbidden, it is ideal to go to one where naturism fans prefer to go, to enjoy a day at the beach with like minded people. For this reason, we have prepared a list of a selection of some of the best nude beaches in Mallorca selected by our team of local experts. According to the famous wikipedia, a naturist or nudist beach is a beach or coastal area specially enabled to practice nudism. Nudism is where people are allowed not to wear clothes on the beach and therefore, there is public exposure of the genital organs of, both men and women and children whilst attending these beaches. The truth is that the description isn´t very clear, as it seems to divide the beaches between nudist and non-nudist parts. So it is important to answer these questions, in order to have a better understanding about the concept of nudism or naturalism:
Absolutely! In fact, in 1988 the crime of public scandal was withdrawn completely, and one is totally free to go to the beach naked, and even in the street. However, the town councils of the different municipalities of Mallorca can regulate the use of the beaches. Consequently, they can prohibit or prevent nudism, or decide in which area of the cove or beach nudism can be practised.
According to the Spanish Naturism Federation: the naturist movement promotes going naked when it is obvious that it is not necessary to wear clothes, for example when going to the beach or in contact with nature, as long as the weather allows it of course.

Caló des Monjo Nudist Cove
Small unspoilt cove near Cala Fornells, declared a nude beach in Mallorca by the Calvia Town Hall.
We start our list of nudist coves in Mallorca within the municipality of Calvia. This small cove forms a U-shaped inlet from the sea giving rise to a small beach of stones and rocks, surrounded by trees and pine trees that reach the shore of the beach. Its waters are crystal clear, with a mixture of sand, stones and rocks, ideal for nude snorkelling.
How do you to the nudist cove of Caló des Monjo? We can park the car in Cala Fornells, and from there there, there is a path through the forest that will take us to this cove in around 10 minutes.
Caló des Grells, a Nude Beach in Palma
One of Mallorcas nude beaches 5 minutes away from Palma for those who have little time or live in the city and do not want to travel far.
This nudist cove in Palma is a little piece of paradise close to the big city, and it´s quiet and easy to get to. It is a small cove and it isn´t sandy, it´s pebbly! It has the disadvantage that in the summer months it fills up easily, however in the evenings, the sunset from here is beautiful. As well as being frequently visited by nudists in Mallorca, it is also one of the favourite beaches of the island’s LGBTQ+ community. A curious detail here is the rock that juts sits out from the shore, which gives it a special charm, a different touch!
How to get to the nude beach of Caló des Grells? This cove is located on the west dike, on the right hand side before reaching the Castle of San Carlos. There is a parking area with more than 20 parking spaces. The entrance to the cove is well signposted, and you will reach the cove by going down some wooden stairs.
Cala Moltó
Super quiet nude beach with dreamlike crystal clear waters, just like a mini paradise here in Mallorca.
Next to the famous Cala Agulla beach, we will find this nude beach which, unlike the other beach, its rocky. The great attraction here though is its waters, which are like a lagoon of transparent water with a multitude of colours thanks to its white sandy bottom. This cove also isnt very deep, which makes it ideal for swimming or snorkelling. If we add the fact that there are few people here usually too, it makes it a perfect choice!
How to get to the nudist cove of Cala Moltó? We can park in the car park at Cala Agulla, and from there we take a beautiful path along the beach, and in just 15 minutes we will be in Cala Moltó.
El Mago, one of the most famous Nude beaches in Mallorca
One of the most popular nudist beaches in Mallorca with all the services and amenities needed for a day at the beach and of course an impressive landscape, where the name itself already tells you that it will be a magical place!
This is one of the most popular nude beaches in Mallorca, which offers sun loungers, beach umbrellas and a beach bar. The beach is small, with fine sand and crystal clear waters. It is quite popular, and there are many boats that anchor there, and it is easily crowded not only by nudists but also by the general public. In fact, it appears on many lists of places to see in Mallorca.
How to get to El Mago nude beach in Mallorca? Getting to El Mago is very easy as there is a parking place at the back of the cove. If you put it on google maps, it shows you the road you should take as well, which is called Camí de Cala Figuera.
Cala Torta
Spectacular cove in a paradisiacal place with crystal clear waters, right in the heart of the Llevant Natural Park.
Cala Torta is another one of Mallorcas coves where nudism is practised, it´s a decent sized beach as well (220 metres wide and 130 metres long). Its waters are crystal clear, however, there are no services of any kind. There is no beach bar either.
Two important pieces of advice. Firstly, if it is a windy day, it may be better to postpone the visit, as it is very exposed and there will be waves. Secondly, from this cove you can go on different hiking routes, and even reach Cala Matzoc, another spectacular cove where nudists will enjoy a beach in the middle of nature.
How to get to Cala Torta? Access to this nudist cove is complicated, as the road is narrow and winding. The last kilometre is very bumpy and rocky, until you reach the pine forest where you can leave your car. Head towards Arta, and at the exit of the village in the direction of Capdepera, you will see the turn-off on the left.
Cala Mesquida
A beautiful sandy beach in the north of the island where you can enjoy a day at the beach, with a special area for nudists.
Cala Mesquida is a wide beach with fine sand, offering all amenities. Although it attracts many couples and families, there is an area on the right-hand side where nudism is practised without any problems. More than a cove, it resembles a beach, as it is quite large. The water is always surprisingly clear, making it a perfect place for snorkelling.
How to get to Cala Mesquida? From Capdepera, the exit to Cala Mesquida is clearly signposted. Once there, you can park in any of the streets near the beach.
Es Trenc
Considered one of the best beaches in Mallorca, and the most famous nude beach in Mallorca, it couldn’t be left off our list.
We’re making an exception and talking about a beach instead of a cove. But it would be a mistake not to mention it. Es Trenc is not only one of the best beaches (if not the best) in Mallorca, it’s also the most famous nudist beach on the island. It’s no less than 2,640 metres of sand. Fine sand, crystal-clear waters, dunes, pine forests and pure nature.
It is worth mentioning that near Es Trenc we have the beaches of Es Peregons, which are also a good option for nudism. They have the advantage of not being as crowded as Es Trenc.

Cala Blanca
A secluded nude beach in Mallorca that few people know about, where you can leave your swimsuit in your rucksack and feel free to practise nudism.
Cala Blanca is a beautiful cove: isolated by a high cliff, without a single building nearby, offering total tranquillity and clean waters in a mixture of sand and rocks. This makes it a very popular cove for nudist bathers. The beach is small, with rocks and pebbles, and posidonia seaweed. It is also a beach where you can take dogs.
How to get to Cala Blanca? Take the Ma-1020 road that connects Puerto de Andratx with Camp de Mar. There you will find a turn-off that leads directly to Cala Blanca. You can park next to the beach. From the car park, you will need to walk down a difficult path for about 50 metres to reach the beach.
Cala Brafi
A small cove with hardly anyone around, isolated from the hustle and bustle of other beaches, and known to very few people.
Cala Brafi is a quiet cove of rocks, stones, sand and posidonia, formed at the mouth of a stream. It is very small, barely 20 metres wide and long. Its waters are transparent, clean and clear, allowing you to see the sandy and rocky seabed perfectly, and you can swim naked. Its natural surroundings give it a special charm, and there is even an old fisherman’s cottage with its old boatyard.
How to get to Cala Brafi? From Porto Colom, head towards Cala Marçal along Calle Gravina until you reach Calle Fotja, where you turn right and continue for about 250 metres. Park your car, and a little further on there is a barrier while the dirt road veers off to the right. At this barrier, there is a footpath that will take you to Cala Brafi in 10 minutes.
