Cala Agulla Beach

Cala Agulla Beach is one of the largest in the municipality of Capdepera. Its 550 meters in length and its fine white sand makes Cala Agulla Beach an ideal place to get away from the big beaches such as Playa de Muro, Port de Alcudia or Cala Millor. As soon as you arrive, you are left with your mouth open with its beauty, and its turquoise and crystalline waters.

Some rocky areas near the coast stand out in its geography, and being surrounded by a pine forest gives it a special charm. Its waters are shallow, and there are many metres until the water covers you, so it is ideal to go with small children or people who are not good swimmers.

Beach in Cala Agulla

Most of the tourists who visit Cala Agulla highlight the calm atmosphere that exists there. There is little urbanization due to the fact that in 1991 it was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest. Despite this, Cala Agulla Beach has the basic services that a good beach should have, such as sunbeds, parasols, lifeguards and beach bars.

The months with the highest number of tourists are in summer, in July and August. A good part of the visitors that this beach receives are of German origin, who stay in the nearby tourist resorts, especially in Cala Ratjada. To avoid the large number of people, we recommend you visit Playa de Cala Agulla between September and October. This way you will have a quieter place and the weather is still very favourable to enjoy the beach.
